found this funny email sent by my aunt.
It's in Chinese. Thus I shall translate the best I can to those who dun read chinese

能忍住不笑算你厉害!

一户潘姓人家，长辈过世。 There's this family, surname "Pan",  whose elderly had just passed away.

家祭时，请来了一位乡音很重的老先生来当司仪。 During the funeral, they invited an uncle, who has a strong village accent to be the spokeman.

讣闻是这么写的： The family list is written as the followings:

　　　孝　男：潘根科   Son: Pan Gen Tou

　　　孝　媳：池氏  Daughter-in-law: Chi Shi (Am not sure if my pronoucation is correct.)

　　　孝孙女：潘良慈 Grand daughter: Pan Liang Ci

 　　孝　孙：潘道时 Grandson: Pan Dao Shi

但这位老先生老眼昏花又发音不标准。 This Uncle is old with dim eyes and bad pronoucation.

当他照著讣闻唱名时，凡是字面上有三点水的或左边部首都漏掉没看  When he was reading the list, he left out the "water" symbol or the left or right symbol of the chinese characters.

于是就给他念成这样子：「孝男，翻……跟……斗……」 Thus, this is how he reads, "Son : Fan Gen Dou" (Son, somersault) 

孝男一听，直觉得很奇怪，但又不敢问，于是就翻了一个跟斗。 The son felt that this is weird, but without questioning he did as asked and somersault once.
 
接著又说：「孝媳…也…是……」 And continues, "Daughter-in-law..... Ye... Shi" (daughter-in-law too)
 
孝媳一听：「我也要翻啊？」于是孝媳也翻了一个跟斗。 Daughter-in-law asked, "Me too?" and she followed.

再来：「孝孙女，翻两次。」 and, "granddaughter, Fan Liang Ci" (granddaughter, somersault twice)
 
孝孙女一听，想想爸妈都翻了，我也翻吧！于是就翻了两个跟斗。 Granddaughter did as what she was told as her parents had already did it.
 
此时孝孙心想：「老爸、老妈都各翻一次，姐姐也翻两次，那么我要翻几次？」 This time, the grandson thought," since dad and mum somersault once, sis did twice, how many times will i get?"
 
心里想著想著就开始紧张了：「怎么办？」 He got nervous as he thought: "What should I do?"
 
只见老先生扯开喉咙，大声念出： But only saw the Uncle opened his throat and said out loudly:
 
「孝孙……翻……到……死」 "Grandson.... Fan ... Dao... Shi" (grandson, somersault until death)

Well... it's funny when reading... With much thought it will not be funny if your name is being pronounce wrongly. So take as a little joke.  Don't take it too seriously.  No offence.
