This morning while i was on the road, listening to yes 933 talking abt the recents calls that are out to cheat people. there's this lady who had a daughter who can't speak chinese. but she received a called whereby her "daughter" cried for help in mandarin. thus she wasn't cheated.

i received this cal a few weeks ago too...
however, it's a guy's voice (not kids) crying for help from mum...
i was like wanting to laugh and wanting to be angry...
then i throw a sentence to him (after he cried for a while)
"I'M NOT SO OLD TO BE YOUR MOTHER!"
then i hang up the phone.
all these calls are in mandarin, think they choose it cos most singaporeans are chinese.
and i somehow can hear that they are china people? ><
dun get me wrong.. i'm not accusing them... it's just that their accent sounds as if....
