AFA Report 2

Ok. Quick report on day 2 of AFA.

First I meet Bong~ She is Jackal's GF! I only know that she is in the SJAS Family after i got home on sat!
then we were like: Oh! It's u! XD

The attraction of the day~
Ms Niou, the Len statue.

Everytime she starts to move, people will come up and ask for her photo. She will then stationed and pose herself for half to 1 hour at the same place. Not moving.
Here's her ballet style. XD

An adorable kid came up to take photo with her, Ain't the girl cute?

I was searching for Nanoha team when I reached. It's been a long time since I have met "Nanoha", and i thought he had forgotten about me. XD
Turns out he still remember and introduced me to the hayate, sgcafe nick= momoko11, as the first nanoha cosplayer in sg... *sweats* something i dun really want to be reminded of...
But they had got me back into re-doing Fate again... Hope i won't spoil her image again...
I found them at the right corner of the whole lvl 3.

And met Sanada with his daughter, Saber~!

2nd Photoshoot of Lifetime

Today, I went for my own Photoshoot with Loriene and her friend Aaron.
Thanks guys!!! You guys are great!

Anyway... I was late...
Due to the stupid bus 154. didn't come at 8.45am
so i had to wait until 9.05am then the bus arrive to take to Boon Lay to meet Loriene.

We reached Botanic Garden at around 10:30am.
So I quickly went to put on my wig, shoes, makeups and off start shooting~

At first, they were busying taking photos of the swans and flowers. (cannot blame them. cos the swans are so pretty~ and they swim like they have a machine behind them. OK, maybe cos i hardly get to see one swim so often)
And the garden is like full of people... gosh...
I walk pass people, people will look at me...
while we were taking photos at the first venue. Got some random photographer ask to take my photo...

I feel awkwad and tense while taking photos...
reason why is that... THIS IS MY FIRST SOLO PHOTOSHOOT! and my second time having photo shoot... and there are so many people around... really feels weird. AND I LOVE THE PHOTOS LORIENE TOOK!!! GOSH!! and i very bad to tell her "weird". Actually is not her photos that are weird... it's just that i had not really seen me in this kind of LOOK! and I LOVE THAT LOOK... which makes me feel weird.

Anyway, I am actually doing Oshitari Yuushi from Prince of Tennis for this shoot. And I am wearing the "costume" from the new POT Bromide Pt. 16, Gakuensai Version.

AFA Doll Meet

Actually, there was a doll meet on the first day of AFA.
So me and garcia, brought our dolls to lunch, so that we can pass by to attend the meet.
alright, i am clueless abt the doll meet....
so i duno what to do..
i only take some photos there...
which i choose only 3 to show...
cos i only took photos of 3 dolls. XD

Anime Festival Asia in Singapore has officially ended.

My feeling about AFA 09.
The event itself, is the same as last year. Nothing much actually. Though... KKMN has super long queue as always, the Maid Cafe... i didn't went in. (If nxt yr is butler cafe, I SURE WILL GO IN IF THERE ARE BISHIES -regardless cross-dressing or not!-). The M.A.G.E shop had earned a lot out from hikaridranz pocket. (she bought 3 bags full of doujinshis and over 80 FMA cards!)
COSPLAY OWNS THE EVENT!
really! it feels like we were there either to cosplay or view cosplay. It is unlike EOY or cosfest whereby we are still interested in the merchandises sold. Everyone is crowding on level 3 to either take photos of cosplayers or cosplayers being taken photos of (which ever way) IT'S SERIOUSLY FUN!

Day 1
I went as Oshitari Yuushi from POT Bromide Pt. 16. Thus, no one knows or even recognise me as him. XD phew~ save me from being statue. The most is only one take and I can move off~

Here ends my report for cosplay pictures of day 1.

After that we went to play para para. Me, in the whole Oshitari wear, playing para para and guitar freak.
So were Jirou/Basil, Ryoma, Niou/Bunta.
It's really funny to see Niou violence dancing. And Gak-chan's too!!! EPIC! XD

Weird dreams

This morning i had weird dreams.

firstly, i dreamt of my younger brother being engaged!
what funny thing is, the engagement party is at a Macdonald's branch!
people who attended are people from my brother sec school. (cos they are wearing the sch uni. i saw it from the glass panels.)
my parents and me are outside the "room", so was the girl's mother/grandmother i guess.
and i heard the mother was explaining how my brother and her girl met.
i was shocked. XD
my brother and the girl met at a mooncake festival carninval and got together. ><

this is weird.. XD does the dream tells me that my brother is really having a girlfriend now~? if it is, my mum's gonna be very happy abt it. XD

this 2nd dream is wow~ i duno why it is so "clear"
ok... i dreamt of attending a small conference with my friends (i only remember seeing jade, cos she is beside me.)
on the "stage", i saw Aiba, Shirota and some other jap idols (as in i know most of them, but forgot who they are) are playing some games entertaining us.
then at a time, all of them went out except for Shirota. He was talking and suddenly look at me and say " Yes you". I was shocked and shy, i hid my face >< I saw jade who was beside me pointing to herself then me. then i look up and stare at Shirota. He say "dun give me that kind of face. anyway aiba prepared something for you."
then some pyajamas song came in. (the song goes "pyajamas" or something la.)
it was some video show... when i was about to look at it....

人生世事难预料。

昨日早上被姑姑的电话吵醒，
因为她找不到我爸爸。。。

我爸回来才和我说没带手机出门。
也罢了。。。
吃着早餐，看到报子上的有一则惊人的报道。

是一则婚变闹成的悲剧。
丈夫与妻子闹离婚，丈夫乘妻子出门后，
放火烧家，死了两个幼小的孩童，后到顶楼跳楼自杀。

读完后，爸爸刚好与姑姑通完电话，
得知报上的那家人正是本人的远房亲戚。

虽然本人和他们很少见面或交谈，最多也只有在过年或婚礼上有过一面之际，
但还是感到震撼。
原本一个好好的家庭，就一夜间失去了3个亲人。。。
两个小孩才刚到人世不久（男童5岁，女童3岁），
刚刚认识这个世界，还没享受到人生的乐趣，就走了。。。

那远方婶婶目前还怀有生孕，得知丈夫和孩子都死了，
悲伤墨迹，不是伤心昏倒。真不知以后她会如何生活。
本人感到无助。因为本人没法帮助她。

quite useful to me. cos i alway get real player files.
watch on tv up to my content~~
dun need to wait for my slow lappy to do so.

think that's about it...
cos all these already cost me tons...

now i understand why being a working people mostly spend so much
even though we have the set in mind to stop spending... but just couldn't control...
how i wish i was back in then, when i know what to spend and what can be saved up....

As u can see from my journal as in how long i took to update it.
it's somehow i have a lot of things i wanna do and i couldn't find a proper time to sit down and write a post?
or even upload photos...
looks like the photos will take some big long time.

here's some updates of the past events i had went to... in this month.

first of all, there's a new born baby who had arrive for 1 month at the start of Aug. (forgot the date. think i did mention in my previous post. which i really forgotten the content.)

National Day,
what did i do on the 3 days...
i dun really remember sia...
gosh... Oh!
on national day night went Bowling with Diana and her boss family and friends.
It was fun. (i got mention before didn't i?)

then 10 aug... forgotten.

15 aug, went for some photo shooting down at tanjong pagar with Loriene. We went to quite a number of places and one of it is the railway station~ I really love the structure there~ took most photos of the place~
Though that day my tummy wasn't feeling well but i manage to get better as time past~ XE
so after the shoot we went to toycon.
we were wondering around the capsula machines area. thinking whether to play or not.
in the end i got shinkenger stuff and she got a turtle(?) from super mario.
And Mizuki (reinakathy) saw me and ran up asking if i saw hikari.
Thus all of us went in search of hikari, but was found quite easily and shortly after that loriene and i left to walk about.
bought some comics and hear the mc announing "the sexest pacman".
immediately turned and i saw the red pac ghost. Lol
thought what.
the place was crowded with people. Thus we had finish our round there and went back home.

actually 15 & 16 aug, i was supposed to be in KL for a function. However, i do not really know those people and the most important reason is because my dad was overseas. so sunday i stayed at home babysiting my sis while my mum was working.
staying at home doing what i like is heaven.
but seriously i need more sleep.

22 aug, Natsu Matsuri.
First time going there. Amazed by the things sold there~
got trouble with wearing my yukata. but thanks to Kiriko, Naoki, Kyo and Haru helping me wear my obi! Love ya guys~! X3
(haven't post this line at YNDS thread though)
I always want to try the Candy Apple. Finally got to taste it. Very hard to bite!! and when finally bite it off so happy~
the apple somehow taste like sugarcane. cos it taste like it's had been boiled or something and i chew together with the sugar coated on it. XD

I went to matsuri with Diana (who was being early for the 1st time. XD), Jade and her brother.

At towards the end of the event, there's the festival dance. Jirou, Diana and I went to dance. So fun~!

And special thanks to Jackal who save Diana and my stomach for the day with the whole lot of delicious food he bought from home! Especially the fried drumlet!

Actually the whole content above here doesn't have any connection with the title/subject I've written above. XD

New opportunity, you might wonder.
well.. i see a new opportunity to make extra money.
Now am working with this particular team to make some extra money.
I was introduce to this team via Jack, someone from SP choir. Am surprised when he called me. When i first heard his voice i sense familiarity but couldn't remember his name. but after that i got to know more.
ok..
i just started out and this team is really fun and helpful to be with~
am happy to with this team. Hope i will be committed and gain something out from there.
I actually had not told my parents abt this.
Cos i dun wanna them to give me setbacks again. I need to think for myself.
I'll surprise them soon i guess... XD
looking forward to it.

There's a workshop i attended on Sunday, 23aug. Called beauty clinic. From there I realised what mistakes I have been making all these years while washing face! Gosh!! and the importance and functions(?) of different skin care products. Pardon me. Am not skin care expert or craz. Am a totally noob. I just get any skin care products that people recommand, and not all work out... but now onwards am more caution to this... needa take care of my skin.

after cosfest day 1, cosfest day 2 photos and info haven't post.

i have been in office for a week, doing nothing.,..
damn sianz...
dun feels like doing anything.

last week, finally went out... but i seriously duno what to search for. though i have the list.
but i duno how to plan with people arnd me...
in the end, almost towards the end of last week, i started to go out alone.
well also due to some communication problems in office.
the intern and the colleagues turned cold towards me again.
ok... shall not mention it. it will bring back unwanted memories.
I went to Naoki's office last friday and met her boss. XE
am there actually to look for wigs with her, but the shop was closed. Remind me not to go there on friday!
then we had lunch and return to her office.
her office door is misleading. XD
but inside is clean wide and neat.
i took photos, in case my producer might think of using it.
cos it's not easy to find the kind she wants.... cos we can't really use the maid agencies....

i realised, i spent a lot this month
over spent.
mostly on food.
i can't stand the temptation of good food these days.
i totally love to eat them. ><

ytd, i went out for location searching again~
and know what i found?
am so surprise to see it
Shinkenger package fruits candy!!!
shall take photo of it and post it up.
yes i bought it n it's not cheap.

then at taka's toy department saw Shinkenger Red's Sword, the robot, the tiger and THE BRUSH PHONE!!!
i'm so tempted to get that la!!
but i saw the price, immediately place it back...
$89.90 sia...
almost to $90 sia...
gosh...

i feels like sleeping now...
i need to finish Air Gear Anime & Yukan Club (if not diana will kill me~ jkjk XD)

oh ya!
my colleague got back from Tokyo~ and she got me a Dino HP strip~!!! X3

i went to join a chinese seigaku forum last month due to boredom.
it turns out fun~
not like most of those i went to before.
the people there are friendly~
get to know a person from malaysia~
though most of them are from china i guess..
there is this part where we become families. and i became a child of one family recently.
though most of them are younger than me. especially my mum and dad.
but it's fun~!

N due to recommandation i started playing web-kare (duno if i had mention it before that am joining hikari in cosplayin this)
it's quite nice. I just got my aiba~X3
and i named him exactly as Aiba Hiroki~
just like jirou's Date Kouji~ XD

but dun usually have time to.

when am at home, am either sewing or watching videos, playing games, read manga online
my life style nowadays.

listen to music, play ds, read novels.
outside:
shopping, listen to music, eat, play taiko (shopping really hurts my pocket tons... but just can't resist. >< am trying to avoid it. really!)

This year cosfest is my first time ended until very late and had a lot of fun~
I even went to dance the camalldance~! XD
And get to know more about How Kawaii Niou(haru_senpai ) can be!
Got to meet Renji (discordous ) for the first time.
1st time going without Diana(dt88 ), Jade(virtue_jade_sin ) or even Garcia (43loves ).
Thought it will be very bore without them. But it turns out still ok.... at least people around me, especially my S.A group and POT group kept me occupied.
Saw a Bunny lolita version of Minami (our POT Tezuka. XD forced to dressed up by Ex-kaidou).
Had dinner with Renji's family. Thank you Renji for inviting us!

Finally, the costume has arrived today.
And tml is cosfest.
Just received it just a day before. SO GREAT RIGHT?

AND NAOKI'S COSTUME WASN'T MADE WHEN THE FORM WAS SENT OVER!

according to Diana, when i took off on wed just to watch this in 3D. XD

dun get mistaken.
I did not shift or move house.
It's Diana.
She has shifted again. This time from Boon Lay to Bukit Batok, with the help from her boss, Boon Ling who came with a van and moved every single items over to the new house in one trip.
save time and money (if not we are calling for cabs.)

BOON LING SAVED THE DAY!
sounds like some super hero? or powerpuff guy. XD

Today is shoes hunting day. Only 5 of us attended.
Megumi (Jirou), Tadashi(Naoki), Jun(Uru), Akira (holyfinx) and myself.
We went in search for shoes, that's the purpose for the day, and found it at BHG.
(am at tampines, century square)
Jun had already bought his. He's just out to meet us and also get the volin from his friend.
Tadashi getting hers on tues by herself, just came to meet us.
Thus, only left three of us bought the shoes. It was fun when we are trying the shoes. Instead of letting the salesgirl do the job of finding our size. We self-serviced. XD
Akira got the smallest sized 5.
Me sized 9.
Megumi sized 10.

After getting our shoes, we went to Paris Mila(? always forgot the last word) to buy contacts...
and i have to undergo another eye test just to buy the contacts because they dun have my records... While other shops i went doesn't required it.
Lucky no increase.
but found a shocking news.
I have rashes under my right eye lid.

Megumi went off while i was having my eye test. As she has to rush off to her manga class. Lucky she wasn't late. Phew~.
Tadashi said that she didn't know that wearing contact lens can be so fun. XD (her first time wearing. All of us are envy for her perfect eye sight. >3)
After i bought my contact lens, we all left the shop. Akira went off to meet her cousin. the rest of us went to mac for lunch.
I shall say. My uchers!!! It's painful! when i was eating my mcspicy and drinking coke. No even drinking plain water makes my uchers pain. (TnT)
Jun went to get the volin when he was abt to start eating his burger. Tadashi and I was laughing at that situation. XD
And Takishima (-papercut) finally smsed me saying that she and Yahiro (mali) cannot make it to the meeting as they are attending the Mascot even at orchard.
Well finally she msged me. XD now i finally has her number.
3 of us went our separate way after lunch, which ends at 3.
so straight after that i went to Diana's hse to rescue her.
Cos she shouting to me: "I dun have bags to stuff the 3/4 of my wardrobe."
yes, i FLY over to her rescue. XD

i guess i have improved my cantonses these days after re-watching (or watch. cos i didnot watch some of the episode) one of my favourite Manga anime, Kazekimi Jeanne神风怪盗贞德.
It's in cantonese.. so yah..

has been looking through my "spam" email acc and found a lot of fun emails.
found this funny email sent by my aunt.
It's in Chinese. Thus I shall translate the best I can to those who dun read chinese

能忍住不笑算你厉害!

一户潘姓人家，长辈过世。 There's this family, surname "Pan", whose elderly had just passed away.

家祭时，请来了一位乡音很重的老先生来当司仪。 During the funeral, they invited an uncle, who has a strong village accent to be the spokeman.

讣闻是这么写的： The family list is written as the followings:

　　　孝　男：潘根科 Son: Pan Gen Tou

　　　孝　媳：池氏 Daughter-in-law: Chi Shi (Am not sure if my pronoucation is correct.)

　　　孝孙女：潘良慈 Grand daughter: Pan Liang Ci

　　孝　孙：潘道时 Grandson: Pan Dao Shi

但这位老先生老眼昏花又发音不标准。 This Uncle is old with dim eyes and bad pronoucation.

当他照著讣闻唱名时，凡是字面上有三点水的或左边部首都漏掉没看 When he was reading the list, he left out the "water" symbol or the left or right symbol of the chinese characters.

于是就给他念成这样子：「孝男，翻……跟……斗……」 Thus, this is how he reads, "Son : Fan Gen Dou" (Son, somersault)

孝男一听，直觉得很奇怪，但又不敢问，于是就翻了一个跟斗。 The son felt that this is weird, but without questioning he did as asked and somersault once.

接著又说：「孝媳…也…是……」 And continues, "Daughter-in-law..... Ye... Shi" (daughter-in-law too)

孝媳一听：「我也要翻啊？」于是孝媳也翻了一个跟斗。 Daughter-in-law asked, "Me too?" and she followed.

再来：「孝孙女，翻两次。」 and, "granddaughter, Fan Liang Ci" (granddaughter, somersault twice)

孝孙女一听，想想爸妈都翻了，我也翻吧！于是就翻了两个跟斗。 Granddaughter did as what she was told as her parents had already did it.

此时孝孙心想：「老爸、老妈都各翻一次，姐姐也翻两次，那么我要翻几次？」 This time, the grandson thought," since dad and mum somersault once, sis did twice, how many times will i get?"

心里想著想著就开始紧张了：「怎么办？」 He got nervous as he thought: "What should I do?"

只见老先生扯开喉咙，大声念出： But only saw the Uncle opened his throat and said out loudly:

「孝孙……翻……到……死」 "Grandson.... Fan ... Dao... Shi" (grandson, somersault until death)

Well... it's funny when reading... With much thought it will not be funny if your name is being pronounce wrongly. So take as a little joke. Don't take it too seriously. No offence.

Ebisboshi

Diana and I went o Ebisboshi @ Iluma for dinner last night.
Both of us are curious abt the Maid "Shabu Shabu" Restaurant there.
However, we didn't went in to eat. As we dun feel like eating shabu shabu... Thus we went in to the normal side.
Were surprised by the ordering method. Well, something new. No free ice water, but if u order hot o-cha, there will be free-flow of refill. Yes, that's it.

I tried the ramen, the spicy one as always.XD And it tasted good. A set meal together with 6 gyoza. Dessert, I had mango ice... It's so delicious and big portion... I love the ice... but could not finish it... Was freezed-cold after having only less than half a bowl of that ice. ><

After dinner, is exercise time~ XD
yes Taiko-drums. And this time I gain another time of blisters at the same area... Dam..n... it. ><
and i wasn't in the correct rhythm yesterday. failed quite a number of times... even though we played the same songs twice... damn stupid right?
haix...
but i still want to play somemore next time... regardless of the blister. Taiko Saiko~!
